HTC has successfully hit the Android market by one of its flagship mobile HTC Desire, and it seems that they can go further. The newly released Desire Z G2 has a more stylish easy-to-carry design, upgraded features including a slide-out keyboard, a 5 megapixel digital camera and a bright 3.7" S-LCD WVGA touchscreen.
You can find a HTC Desire Z phone, a battery, a charger, a handsfree and a user's guide inside the package box.
Desire Z looks more masculine and professional than its predecessor with cool silver-and-black design. A featured 3.7" S-LCD WVGA capacitive touchscreen is perfect for everything. Certainly under the HTC’s favourite Android OS 2.2, you can enjoy apps from Market, messages and most importantly emails. Desire Z aims to put all your email accounts into one inbox, to let you handle your business in a much more convenient way.
The slide-out keyboard is of course another hot feature of Desire Z. When you pop open the keyboard, the screen will automatically turn to a landscape view.
Four touch-sensitive virtual keys – Home, Menu, Back, and Search – are placed right below the screen and the optical trackpad is kept also.
The keys are nicely spaced and raised for fast comfortable typing, giving you great comfort from casual texting to serious business emails.
The rear design is quite different from its predecessor, having a silvery colour and a metallic feel. At the top left corner houses the 5MP camera which enables flashlight and supports video-shooting.
The volume rocker and charge slot are on the same side.
And the Power/Lock key and audio jack are located at the top.
If you are used to HTC Desire, you may find the new Desire Z has not gone through big changes besides the slide-out keyboard. In fact, Desire Z has some more to explore; and for those who don’t like virtual keyboard, Desire Z may be your choice.
